Iggy Azalea Sells Her Catalog for 8 Figures

Domain Capital Bought It!!

Last year, Australian rapper Iggy Azalea decided to quit music and pursue a life away from the industry. However, she took advantage of the opportunity when she realized how much money she could make by staying selling her catalog. She recently sold her music catalog to Domain Capital for an impressive 8 figure amount.

On Monday, November 21, the news broke out from a close source that Billboard had reported on. The source stated that 100% of the artist’s catalog sales made up the contract agreement. Some of the artist’s most successful songs, such as “Black Widow” with Rita Ora and “Problem” alongside Ariana Grande, are included in the deal.

The “I Am The Strip Club” musician’s manager Reece Pearson and attorney Peter Paterno joined forces to make sure future income from master recordings was still possible. This feat was accomplished thanks to them working together.

Her latest album, The End of an Era was also given in the deal to Domain Capital. Additionally, the deal includes her In My Defense EP, which now belongs to Domain Capital after being acquired by the company. And lastly, she her other album Surviving the Summer EP is now under Domain Capital’s ownership.
